Hey guys, it’s been a while!
I hope that things are going well, and I have appreciated your prayers thus far. It has been a while since my last post, and a lot of things have happened. The retreat went well, and the missionaries really appreciated our watching their kids and pouring into them. It seemed as though the kids got a lot of encouragement and had a good amount of fun with us. After the retreat, some of the missionaries told us how much they appreciated us spending time with the kids and devoting our time to them.
Since the retreat, we have done a lot of different stuff. We helped repaint a new room for the student center, held a street party for our neighbors on the street, and did a good amount of stuff with Thai kids in churches in the area. Surprisingly enough, we have been able to do a lot of stuff with kids, which we three have all enjoyed.
We have also been able to connect with more of the missionaries here and Thailand to see what work they do and spend time with them. Recently, one of the missionary families here has been hosting a short-term team, and we have been doing a lot of with them to help out in their work.
Currently we are preparing for an awesome opportunity that we have tomorrow. We are going to be able to visit one of the schools and spend a good portion of the school day with around 100 school kids. This is going to be a great way to show love to the kids in Bangkok and share the gospel with them. We will be sharing with them about American culture and tradition, and we will be bringing the church to them at the end with a message and time of worship. I am super excited, and think that this could be one of my favorite parts on the trip so far.
- Open hearts in the school kids when we present the gospel
- Continued opportunities with the people in the community
- Grace and protection as prepare to fly back home this Sunday
I am excited to be able to see you all again soon!
