Beloved You Are Wanted

“We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked, and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for is the greatest poverty.”

– Mother Teresa

The reality is people may feel as though they are unwanted, unloved, and uncared for but these thoughts and feelings come straight from the enemy, because God [who may I remind you is THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE] loves us all oh so much and His love may be immeasurable, but it is something that we can put our faith into. When you have the protection and love from the Father Almighty who is in Heaven that is something that no one can take away from you. Who is someone to think they have the right to take what they never gave? God wants us. God loves us. God cares for us.

Ephesians 3:14-21 [Prayer for Spiritual Strength]

14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians about his desire to come to the Thessalonians and speak but Satan kept hindering them… Paul WANTED to continue to speak of Jesus, but the enemy was holding him back. People who are so deeply in love with Jesus long to tell others of Him and His great love. HIS LOVE!! How much greater can a love be than take a punishment we so rightly deserved?  John 15:13 ” Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” {Jesus friends of sinners}. I care and more importantly The Lord cares. Through Jesus blood we have the power to rebuke the enemy; the thoughts of being unwanted, the thoughts of being unloved, and the thoughts of being uncared for because we are MORE than conquerors through Christ. {Romans 8:37} Although the enemy may have power, God has more, and He not only calls us loved, cared for, and wanted, but  we are also named His Beloved.

Isaiah 40:28 “Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.”

John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”
