“Many years ago a word from the Lord told us that someday foreigners would come into our village and tells us about Jesus… today is that day.” It was an afternoon in the northern part of Thailand on January 6, 2015. To give you a picture of the location our team was so far north that the local Thai people told us just over the [small] hill you would be walking into Burma. We were having time with the local families after lunch and a day in the village fighting human trafficking by advocating the safe haven of Jesus Christ. We were not only raising awareness to human trafficking, but also offering the hope that comes with healing through Jesus. I did not realize it then but looking back now I know that moment was one of the biggest moments in my life that pushed me to want to become a full time missionary.I know that I want to share Jesus with others, I want them to know the hope found through Him, I pray that everyone may come to know that we are loved by a humble carpenter. It amazes me that my God who is so big and loving decided to show little me a glimpse of the big picture he has planned. The Lord was saying “Look YOU are an answer to the prayers of these precious people, these people whom I spoke to, these longing hearts whom I hold in my hands, this people group that I have a plan for.” Psalm 139:16 says, “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” God holds the world, he has every moment already planned, and He, the Creator of the Universe, grasps us in the hands whose little finger is even stronger that our right arm. He knows us as His Beloved.
Colossians 3:12 “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.”
